Viewer Merge / Split

Combine two viewer profiles into one (e.g. the same person under different names on YouTube and Twitch) — the system merges chat history and donation count automatically. Use Split if a merge was wrong and you want to break an identity back out.

What it does​

  • Merge two viewer profiles into one
  • Combine chat history + donation count from both
  • Split an identity off a viewer (when a merge was wrong)
  • Suggestions banner after merging

Where to find it​

Viewers → Viewer Manager → Merge dialog + Split button in the detail modal

Outputs / what happens​

  • Merged viewer record — combined identities from both
  • Suggestions banner to help with follow-up cleanup

Use case​

A regular viewer goes by "earthwl" on YouTube and "earth_wl" on Twitch — Merge them into a single profile and you'll see their combined donation total across both platforms on one record, making your Top Donor stats more accurate.
